Описание: Семья Хигараси вот уже тысячу лет служит в синтоистском святилище. Во времена Сэнгоку Дзидай (феодальной раздробленности XV-XVI веков) юная священница Кикё ценой своей жизни наложила заклятие на получеловека-полудемона Инуясю и приковала его к дереву в лесу неподалеку от святилища.
Инуясе, как и многим другим демонам того времени, было нужно сокровище храма - Жемчужина Четырех Душ, являющаяся для них источником силы и бессмертия. Чтобы Жемчужина не попала в лапы демонов, Кикё завещала сжечь ее вместе с телом Кикё.
Однако в наши дни душа Кикё переродилась в теле 15-летней Хигараси Кагомэ, девушки смелой, решительной и совершенно не верящей в магию и прочую "священную муть". Вместе с душой Кикё в теле Кагомэ возродилась и Жемчужина.
Однажды кот Кагомэ забрался в запечатанный колодец на заднем дворе храма. Когда девушка пыталась вытащить животное, демон-сороконожка утащил ее на дно колодца. Выбравшись наружу, Кагомэ и Жемчужина оказались во времени Сэнгоку Дзидай, только через 50 лет после гибели Кикё...
